Dark Colors

What starts out as colorless druzy might take on a whole new character as minerals seep in during the crystals’ growth process. The result is stunning agate druzy in darker shades. I can’t vouch that all of these have totally natural color, though. It’s possible that the darkest black ones might be dyed. However, the ones with brown, grey, or translucent areas are likely natural colors. And for all of them, the agate banding and circle patterns are totally Nature’s own handiwork. As with most agate drusies, the polished agate surround not only helps protect the crystals, it also makes bezel-setting a snap. Please note the sizes on these; the photos might make some stones look larger than they really are.
