Tiffany Stone

Utah is not only a gorgeous state, it also produces some pretty spectacular gemstones, and in my opinion, Tiffany Stone is about the prettiest, with a color palette ranging from purples and lavenders, through peachy pinks, all the way to ochres and russet brown. I was lucky to get my pick of a really nice selection, many with striking patterns and sprinkles of twinkling micro-crystals. The “crackled” faces of these stones add to the patterns and are very characteristic of the material. They don't affect the stone's structural integrity. Prices on this lovely stone have gone up dramatically in the last few years, but these are well worth the price because they come from rough that features bright, beautiful colors. All have polished backs.
