Strawberry Rose

I purchased these little rich pink delights directly from lapidarist Greg King who mined them himself, then cut and polished them by hand. The output is so small that they can be considered rare. The lush, deep rose-colored lines and flecks are Piemontite, which is a red, manganese-bearing epidote. And the strawberry ice cream background is Ziosite, a rose-pink version of Thulite. The richness of the color determines the value of the stone. Backs are unpolished. This is my entire stock of this stone, and I'm not confident that more is available.
