Sonoran Sunrise Jasper

This stone is really a rarity in Nature:  After all, think how difficult it would be to not only find the bright aqua-green of Chrysocolla in the same location as red Cuprite so bright it pulsates, but also to have thick black (probably of Tenorite) there as well….And, then, to have them melded together in such spectacular patterns–Wow!  So even the rough of this material (mined in Mexico) is extremely expensive, and only a portion of it has the colors as strong and vivid as these (no kidding, they seem to glow under halogen light).
Put this stone in your jewelry designs and they will stop traffic! These all required hand-polishing, so they have satin-finish backs.
