Noreena Jasper

I first came across this stone a decade ago while wandering through the hot, dusty, outdoor miner’s booths at the Tucson Gem Show. A handsome Australian couple mined this stone, and as I looked at the slabs they sold, I was immediately captivated by the mysterious, almost magical patterns of color in the best pieces–soft reds and greys, and muted mustard yellows ebbed and flowed through the stone. In later years, I was unable to locate them, but recently, I found this really lovely set of finished cabs and earring pairs. Mined in Australia. Satin backs.
