Chinese Writing Stone

When you look at this stone, you just have to wonder how Nature came up with a way to produce patterns that bear an uncanny resemblance to the brush strokes in Oriental paintings and calligraphy. And from California, no less! There are lots of Chinese Writing Stones out there, but it takes quite a bit of searching–across gem shows, dealers, and years–to find ones such as these with such pretty patterns.
